The Start of the Food Trip.

Finally found the courage to go through the pictures! VERY LAZY TO DO SO. Lol. The only bad thing about going on a 5-days-trip, is that you get too much pictures in your computer you're afraid to sort it out. Hahahahaa!

Anyway I'm working on it! So let's start with the first day when I reached KL! :)))))

My bestie, Yue picked me up at the bus station and dropped me off at the lrt. So I'm like trying to figure out my way to get to KL Sentral. Btw, I'm really a noobie when it comes to KL. Coz the only thing I know about KL is the KLCC which I spent most of my time at during my MPYO period.

I was whatsapp-ing with my baby Sera all the time, and she gave me a heads-up not to ask direction from any strangers and only the subway staff! :) Good tips for a lone girl going around on her own. Better be careful!

Met up with my uncle and my aunt! Didn't see them for like a year or so! I used to stay over at their house when I came to KL last time for MPYO camp. They're always really good to me and I love them very much!

Uncle brought me to this place where they served really good fish and frog! LOL. My aunt doesn't eat frog because of her Guan Yin religion and my uncle was like "you missed out the best thing". Hahahaha.

I enjoy eating frogs because their meat is like really chewy and nice, but I don't think I'll eat them too often, because I once read in some wechat news that a family contracted some worm diseases in their bodies because they eat too much frogs. They eat them on weekly or even daily basis if I'm not mistaken. So again, they probably didn't cook it the right way. You have to make sure it is thoroughly cooked. Not just fried quickly in the hot oil and the meat inside might still be raw. Trust me, you don't want that.

After the late dinner/supper, it was already almost 11pm! So my uncle drove me to Yue's house in Ampang. He got to the wrong place at first and I felt really really sorry for troubling him because his place is reallyyyy far from Sin yue's place, and he drove like at least 45 mins to 1 hour before getting there. And when he got home it was already 1am. :(((( And he had work the next day.

Sorry uncle for so much trouble. :'(

And I'm really grateful to my Yue for letting me to stay over in her condo! She shares it with another 3 really  nice girls. And again I'm very sorry because she let me sleep on her bed while she has to sleep in the sleeping bag! T______T Thank you so much!!!!!! That sleeping bag doesn't look comfortable at all but she reassures me that it is. :(

We woke up pretty early the next morning to catch the ETS train to Kampar! We're going to attend bestie Ying's convocation! Woooohooooo!

Breakfast at the KL Sentral station. :) This whole set is like RM 6 I think. Not bad. :)

The 2 puffy-eyed.

Once we got there, Maple and her sis came to pick us up. Qian is in the car too! And we immediately went in search for the convo bouquet to give to Ying! :) Got the pink roses for her because she loves pink!

And Yue's idea to give this hugeee bunny because flowers are just too mainstream, and they don't last long. Better give a longer-lasting gift, no? :D

It was super duper hot. Noon time. And that place was packed with people, all attending the convo.

Finally found the graduated girl in the midst of "people mountain people sea" hahahaa. Pictures time!!

The famous BIG TREE in UTAR Kampar campus!

Ying and her coursemates!

I must say UTAR campus is a great place to take pictures! Very beautiful and unique place!

Mr bunny graduated! We're soooo proud of you! *chest-puffed-up*

This girl is holding the biggest sunflower I've ever seen! hahaha no idea if it's fake or real!

In the afternoon we went for lunch at a Pan Mee place, but I was having a bad fever so I pretty much just spent the time lying down on the table and couldn't taste anything when I eat. So no pictures. And when we got to the hotel I sort of passed out on the bed for a few hours after showering. Poor Yue and Ying had to talk in whispers just in case I woke up, and they were completely bored to death. Hahahaha. Sorry girls!

Once I woke up it was already 6pm plus, and Maple came to pick us up to go for a Thai Dinner!!! :))) We went to Restoran Siam Kampar.

The highly recommended Pandan syrup drink! :)) Super duper refreshing! I've never tried something like that before!

The Signature Tofu! :)))) Very crunchy outside and very soft inside!

The Tomyum! Extremely sour and spicy. LOL.

The Chicken Ketupat! Inside are small pieces of fried chicken. :)) Interesting!

Absolutely juicy and yummy mixed vege. Love this.

They even serve free desserts afterwards! This really interesting looking pink coconut milk thing. I' think the pink stuff inside are the pomegranate seeds and the yellow slices are Jackfruit. :) Love this!

After the dinner we got so full we just need to take a walk. So we went back to the campus and took picture with the Grand Hall! It looks amazing at night!

Shadow pics are taken. LOL.

As if we are not already full enough, lol. We went to the next stop, Bean Cafe! :) It is probably one of the most famous cafe in Kampar because even though it is like 11pm plus there are still sooooo many people inside! We had a hard time finding seats.

The Signature Hot Chocolate is amazing. :)))

You know, girls and their vanity. LOL.

Updating my Instagram. LOL.

I'm going to sort out the next post, stay tuned!!! More food trip!!!

You Said You Can Run?

Not that I want to scare you guys with my bare face, but I think nobody workout with make up on right? :D

I've got all motivated to work out when I'm back in Malaysia because hey, it is summer holidays! I have a lot of free time to spend hahaha. And when I actually am free enough, I started noticing how terribly flabby my thighs and butt look like and I'm horrified.

Everyday I just sullenly pinching my flabby thighs, or even shake them for entertainment, imagine that they're two pieces of jelly. Trust me, they shake like that exactly. =.= So here comes a day when my mom couldn't stand it any longer, she asks me to start working out.

Actually I already became workout-conscious started from last year. Thanks to my baby Sera. She's like my health guru, always update me with the best health and workout tips. So I became pretty dedicated last summer in Malaysia, doing the Victoria Secret Angel's workout. And hey it does show some positive results.

But, there's always a but. I'm a terribly lazy person. So when I went back to Shanghai, I stopped working out. Actually workout just take like 30 minutes to 1 hour of my whole day, but I gave myself all kinds of excuses: I'm so tired today, the classes and orchestra practice wore me out; I just showered and I don't want to shower again after workout etc.

So yeah, you get my point. Anyway, I brought my Nike trainers back in Malaysia so I decided I should put it to good use! :) I decided to go running everyday! My mom tags along too, and she is actually pretty good at running! :)

This is where I jog! :) Love the running lane there so I have a specific smooth lane to keep running, round and round. I usually run at least 10 rounds, as much as possible! :)

Anyway here comes the painful part. I'm not worried about the soreness and pain in my limbs. I embraced them.

BUT BLISTERS IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT MATTER.
I got blisters the size of a 50 cent (Malaysia coin) at the back of my heel. OMG. That was from the second day of running. I tried to wear socks too but it doesn't work. So I put a lot of band-aids.

Band-aids proved to be not much help too, see this picture below. It still tear off when I run, and the blister just get worse. Hah!

Sorry if this picture scares/disgusts you. XDDD

Everyday before or after running (depends on my time), I'll do a thigh exercise routine following the Youtube video! It's like 12 minutes long but it burns.

And I want to say a biggggg THANK YOU to my gorgeous friend, Kim! :)

I never really get to talk to her before even though we are the same batch and from the same high school. I love looking at her pictures on FB because she's really pretty! :) So today I notice that she has a blog too, and a blog-lover like me got really curious and left a comment stating "I WANT READ!" hahaha. And then it starts our conversation! :)

Turns out she's really sweet and extremely helpful in everything! I ask for her help and advices in editing blog layout coz I sucks at HTML, and she gave me a lot of helpful links and ideas! :)

And then I was telling her about the blisters I got and she sent me this.

I didn't know there's something like this omg. T____T Anti Blister socks. Awesome.
I should have gotten it ages ago wtf. I got so many blisters I can't keep track of them. :'( Will get them when I go back to Shanghai, that's where all my money is hahahahahaa! :))) I'm pretty much broke when I come back to Malaysia.

Btw leng lui's blog must share!
Check out Kim's blog by clicking HERE.

Go read go read. Drop dead gorgeous kay? :DDDD

Throwback to 2 days ago! :) Hang out with Uzey, Syafiq and Hafiz yeay! :))) We went to the Western restaurant at Geliga. First time going there. There are too much places in Kemaman that I haven't been to yet. :/

The steaks there looks pretty good! It was quite late already so I didn't order steak, don't want to waste my running effort lol.

I got myself a glass of hot carrot milk when I heard Syafiq getting his. LOL. I was really curious, carrot milk can actually be hot? I usually just have cold ones.

So when it arrived I'm totally astounded. I'm thinking probably they heat the fresh milk first, and then add in the carrot juice, but wouldn't the carrot juice turns into some weird color then?

I have so much question marks on my head. LOL. In the end, the answer is actually pretty simple. They got the carrot juice, then pour in hot water and add in condensed milk. That's it. No fresh milk.

This is not Starbucks lah, Syaf said. =.=

FINE. First time having HOT carrot milk in my life, and felt cheated about the "milk" part. =.=

Ordered nuggets and they are all in love-shape! I'm feeling loveddddd. :D

So yeah that's all for now! :) Talk to you guys soon!!!
