String Quartet Performance in Su Zhou.

This post is dated back to 15th December 2012. :)
The International Students' Office organised a music forum in Su Zhou that requires a string quartet performance and a Chinese trio. The forum is to compare Western and Eastern music. We had the same thing last time in Shanghai Theatre Hall, and the feedback was great so they organised it again, this time in Su Zhou! :D

We were warmly welcomed by the organisers there, and they brought us to one of the most famous Su Zhou restaurants to have lunch.
So many dishes it was impossible to finish! O.O

Su Zhou cuisine is more to the sweet side. :) Though not as sweet as Shanghai cuisine.

After lunch, we went to Su Zhou Museum. The forum was held there. :)

Screenshots of some pictures in  in the backstage changing room. :)

The violinists. ;P

Performing! ^.^ I think we did a pretty good job. Hehe.

Here's the pretty pretty Korean babe in our quartet, I don't know the correct spelling for her Korean name so I'll type Chinese: 全熙然 :D

Her face is super small but she says it's too big. O.O LOL. So she has to hide her face with her hands when posing for pictures. XD

Colour scheme:
Beige Brown and Black &Grey. :D

Hello beauty~

After the concert, we got to tour around the museum and saw lots of interesting stuff! For example: This HUGE elephant tusk that has such intricate carvings on it!!!

Can't imagine how big the elephant was!!!

Su Zhou Museum is very famous for its design. :)

Wikipedia:
The current building of Suzhou Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei in association with Pei Partnership Architects. Construction of this building started in 2002. It was inaugurated on October 6, 2006.

After the 1-hour tour in the museum, we went back to the concert hall to thank the audience. We got so many flowers!!! :DDDD
We gave all the flowers to our lovely teacher from the International Students' Office. :DDD Haha!!

All of us! Only Ze Chuan missing! :)

Playing with the flower. :D
